The Alfred Wegner Institute (AWI) honors the former President of WSCS for his donation of more than 10,000 offprints and historic publications in the field of marine ecology to AWI‘s library with the grand opening of the „Rosenthal Reading Room“ at the Library of the AWI Station in List, Island of Sylt, Germany on June 22nd 2020. The opening will take place in a public ceremony with a lecture by Prof. Rosenthal.
