In recent days, a National Geographic team has been to Italy for a report they intend to do on sturgeons. They were accompanied to visit some important production plants, Storione Ticino, Naviglio, Agroittica Lombarda and Acipenser, as well as some public realities such as the Ticino Park and the private sturgeon fishing museum in Calendasco, in the province of Piacenza. Conservation aspects and possible forms of collaboration for the conservation and recovery of these species have always been emphasized, even with producers, which are sometimes essential for the availability of breeding subjects. Considerable satisfaction was shown by the participants, Hannah Nordhaus, Jennifer Hayes and David Doubilet, who would like to return to be able to make further underwater shots.
