July 21, Goga Gelashvili (living in the Sagvichio village) sent a sturgeon video about the release of a small sturgeon Acipenser nudiventris to the Rioni River from where it was caught.

Goga is 22 years old and it is the first case in his life. Goga did not take the sample but he immediately released the sturgeon back to the Rioni river. Giving the dimension of the small fish, it’s it is plausible to assume that at least one reproduction in the wild was successful in 2021
