As you probably know, the European Aquaculture Society (EAS) is organising its Aquaculture Europe 2022 event from September 27-30 in Rimini, Italy. The event, entitled “Innovative Solutions in a Changing World” will be mainly focused on important sustainability challenges imposed by climate change, depletion of natural resources, loss of biodiversity, environmental pollution. Here you can find the official brochure (https://aquaeas.org/_pdf/AE2022RegBro.pdf).
As a session convenor for the proposed session “Conservation and Restoration (all species)”, I have the pleasure to invite you to submit an abstract for this session. Abstracts can be submitted starting from now through the web site (https://www.aquaeas.org) and the abstract deadline is May 1, 2022.
The possibility to actually held the session will depend on the number of abstracts submitted. Therefore, the final programme will be decided only after the May 1 by the Programme co-chairs, who will decide which sessions will take place, as well as and their length or the need of merging some of them.
I sincerely hope that you are interested in participating in this session and this event, and I would ask you to pass this request on to your colleagues working also on other key marine and freshwater fish, shellfish and algal species, who you think might be equally interested.
With my best personal regards
Paolo Bronzi
