Given the massive supply problems that currently exist in invaded Ukraine also for fish feed, with the purposeto save a wild Azov Sea broodstock of sturgeons maintained in a commercial farm, a large group of Italian sturgeon farmers (Agroittica Lombarda, Storione Ticino, Acipenser, Soc. Agr. Naviglio di Bettinazzi, Agroittica Casetta di Arduini, Giaveri, Az. Agr. Fantinato, Salmopan together with the feed factory Veronesi) donated the feed necessary to ensure the survival of the fish for a fairly long time. The WSCS has acted as a coordinator and facilitator in this support activity of saving the valuable resource.
