The Covid related restrictions imposed upon international travel and the facilitation of meetings resulted in a substantial delay of the 9th International Symposium on Sturgeons (ISS9) until now. With the perspective that the restrictions concerning the travel and the access to China will be lifted in the near future, the WSCS Board decided to postpone the 9th International Symposium on Sturgeons (ISS9) to fall 2023 in order to allow colleagues from around the world to plan ahead to allow a timely decision on the participation in this great event.
Following the negotiations of the local organizing committee the preparations for the event can finally start. A first announcement will be published soon. Further details regarding the final dates, the main topics and prerequisites for participation will be provided in July 2022.
In the meantime we are working to ensure we see you in Qiandaohu next year.
