Over 45 rivers and great lake basins supporting inland fisheries, sturgeon fishery is reported in 9 rivers and two lakes. The rivers are the Pearl River, the Yangtze River, the Amur River, the Ob-Irtysh River, the Ural River, the Volga River, the Danube River, the Mississippi River; the lakes are the Caspian Sea and the Canadian Great Lakes.
